The academy


Terms and conditions

1. This promotion/competition is open to any person with a National A or B MSA racing licence or a motor sports Ireland Licence and must be a member of the club they have chosen.
1a This promotion/competition is being run and managed by Sole UK Birel Importer ACR (Andy Cox Racing Ltd Lissone House, Harris Business Park, Bromsgrove B60 4DJ) The Managing Director of ACR will act as judge and his decision will be final.
1b. The chosen Birel Academy clubs to which results will be taken are Bayford meadows, Clay Pigeon, Dunkswell, Kimbolton, Llandow, Larkhall, Nutts Corner, PFI, Rowrah, Rye House ,Rissington, Shenington, Three sisters, Teeside Karting, Whilton Mill, Wombwell and the Motorsport Ireland club.
1c. Only one kart can be purchased by each selected Birel Academy driver at the offer price.
2.The period of the racing season to which results will be taken from each  Birel academy club will be from the months  March, April, May, June, July, August and September 2010. For Birel Academy drivers in the Motorsports Ireland club results will be taken from round 3 (venue to TBC) to round 7 (venue to TBC)

2a.Only “A Final wins” won by a Birel Academy driver at his/her nominated club will be counted towards the drivers results. If no driver wins a final then the results shall be based on the driver with the highest placed finishes for example 2nd’s, 3rd’s
2b. In the event of a tie either on wins or 2nd or 3rd or 4th places results (etc) then the results shall be taken from the driver with the highest places achieved in the same manner.



3. The prize – ACR will pay and provide for the winner (driver only) 1 night accommodation room only, a return flight ticket from the UK (airport to be decided by ACR) to Milan Italy to the Birel Spa factory for a tour before attending a track (track to be decided by Birel Spa) test with Birel Motorsport in which the winner will drive a Birel KF3 for the Junior driver and a Birel KF2 for a senior driver.  

4. Spare Parts and Birel Clothing – these items are available for Birel Academy drivers only and will be supplied in suitable quantities as required for an Academy drivers kart only. ACR reserves the right to withdraw discounts if it believes that such spares or Birel clothing is not intended for exclusive use of the Birel Academy driver.  Any Birel Academy driver found distributing spare parts for reward will be immediately disqualified from the competition and all discounts and benefits will be cancelled.

5. All Birel Academy drivers must run the Birel Bodywork sticker pack supplied with the kart at all times. Any replacement sticker sets required can be purchased with your Birel Academy discount applied.

6. Website driver page – each Birel academy driver will have their own web page constructed for them within the  HYPERLINK "http://www.acrbirel.com" www.acrbirel.com web site. It is the driver’s responsibility to add results to their page after each race. ACR reserves the right to remove, suspend any entries or pictures unsuitable for display on the acrbirel.com site.

ACR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE, MODIFY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PROMOTION AT ANY POINT COPYS OF WHICH/WOULD WILL BE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
