BIREL FOCUS ON YOUNG NEW PILOTS AS THE EASYKART PROJECT GROWS

The house of Lissone will follow in the National 60 Mini the young Shwartzman and Sitnikov from the 60 Easykart and, at the same time, it will make the most interesting pilots of 100cc class doing some tests in KF3: the first will be Bertonelli and Partigianoni, Tuesday the 12th on the Sarno track.

It is known how Birel is interested in the breeding ground and, amongst its declared aims and supported by Easykart Project, there is the one of the high work in the minor classes to improve the number of pilots in this section. With the same aim the EASYKART DRIVER PROGRAM born and keeps on improving with always new initiatives. Last in time is the engagement of the Junior Birel Team also in National 60 Mini with two young pilots from 60 Easykart. These pilots are the Russian Robert Shwartzman, winner of the 2008 International Final and Nikita Sitnikov, winner of the European Final run in Poland during the last season. With both of them, Birel's got an optional multi-year contract. The choice of following them during the National 60 Mini is due to the will to increment their experience before starting with Easykart 100 and, then, KF3. in 60 Mini some more regulations are allowed than in the 60cc Birel class, and it is very useful for pilots formation.
The program for them sees their participation to the races of Open Championship of Sarno and Castelletto di Branduzzo, and of the Italian Championship of Sarno next 30th of August, because they both have the Italian stay and license. Always in 60 Mini class, Birel will make the 2009 Easykart season dominator in 60cc class Mattia Drudi to have a test. So it is possible that the Drumel colors pilot (he also under option with Birel) will run the Italian Championship with the Junior Birel Team colors. Besides the activities connected with the 60cc class, the Birel staff is keeping on working on formation of the most interesting pilots of 100 Easykart. In this category there are already three pilots which are particularly interesting (Bertonelli, Cunati e Pastorok) but the aim is to duplicate this number within October.
Next 21st July the first free KF3 test will be done for two pilots amongst the best of this first part of the season: Diego Bertonelli and Piero Partigianoni. They will both a day long session of tests on the Sarno circuit with Birel Motorsport and, if for Bertonelli it will be a program looking at the future, the Partigianoni's choice could lead to an imminent debut in KF3. soon after the pilots who will try in Sarno, it will be Cunati and Pastorok's turn, but besides them on Birel list there are at least 10 other names (for example, Bono, Rosa, Paschina, Motta, Bissolo and Balsamo) which had particularly distinguished themselves in 100 Easykart and the aim of Birel staff is the one of valuating them all during some test sessions.
